According to the Thai media "Minzu Daily" on July 10th, the Eastern Economic Corridor of Thailand, as an economic zone and investment hotspot, has attracted multinational enterprises to increase investment and driven up land prices. According to a report from the Real Estate Information Center of the Housing Bank of Thailand, the land transfer fees for the Eastern Economic Corridor reached 47 billion Thai baht (approximately 10.44 billion yuan) in the first quarter of 2025, a year-on-year increase of 31%. Among them, the land price index of Luoyong Prefecture increased the most, with a year-on-year increase of 43.5%, while that of Chunwuli Prefecture increased by 33.6%. From the year-on-year growth rate, significant price changes were observed in places such as Wanlamang (126.5%) and Lacha (88.6%) in Chunwuli Prefecture. It is expected that the land transfer amount in the region will increase by 2.4% by 2025, with land allocation and housing construction project investment increasing by 22.7% and 2.5% respectively.
